When meeting someone from online for the first time, always choose a busy, public location. Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when to expect you back.
Use our report and block features if someone makes you feel uncomfortable. You can report any profile or message. Our safety team reviews every report within 24 hours.
Be cautious of profiles with very few photos, no bio, or those who ask for money or gifts. Legitimate members will never ask you for financial help.
If something feels off, it probably is. Never feel pressured into meeting someone or sharing photos you are not comfortable with. Your safety is always the priority.
Mymatchsticks has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, fake profiles, nudity in public areas, violence, hate speech, and minors on the platform. Violations result in immediate permanent bans and may be reported to authorities.
